The project objective was to achieve a 10% increase in CPR from the baseline level, resulting in a net addition of 2153 new acceptors of family planning (FP). Currently, there are approximately 6415 baseline users, and by the end of the project, the number of modern contraceptive users should reach 6568. Of the total new acceptors, 20% will be limiting clients, while 80% will be spacing clients.
Among all spacing clients, 20% will choose CSM as their contraceptive method.
The project aims to achieve 85% immunization coverage for all infants below the age of 1 year. Each year, 3230 infants will be immunized as part of the project.
The target is to achieve 60% complete immunization coverage for children in the age group of 1-5 years. This means that each year, 8359 children will be fully immunized.
The project aims to register 100% of all pregnant women, which amounts to 3799 women. Additionally, 60% of these pregnant women in the project area, approximately 2479 women per year, will receive comprehensive antenatal and postnatal care (ANC/PNC), including two doses of tetanus toxoid (TT), distribution of iron and folic acid (IFA), and three check-ups. Special attention will be given to early detection of pregnancy, screening for high-risk pregnancies, and making referrals for safe delivery at the Primary Health Center (PHC), Community Health Center (CHC), government hospital, or to Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs) or Traditional Birth Attendants (TBAs) in Mirzapur. This Project was supported by State Innovations in Family Planning Services Project Agency (SIFPSA). Total 1,26,652 beneficiaries under this project.
