Gender disparities continue to exist in rural areas and among disadvantaged communities, persisting despite the progress made. Enrolment patterns reveal substantial disparities in the enrolment of girls at the elementary level, particularly at the upper primary levels, in comparison to boys. The primary goal of the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) initiative is to provide girls from marginalized groups in society with access to quality education. This is achieved through the establishment of residential schools specifically targeting the upper primary level. The KGBV program aims to bridge the gender gap in education and ensure that girls from disadvantaged backgrounds have equal opportunities to receive education of high standards. This Project was supported by Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan. In this project 100 girls were provided quality education.
